Chances are that you’ve never hired a DJ. We've assembled a list of most faq's to help you make a better education decision.

 

How Much Do You Charge? It depends on several factors, ie: Date, time. venue, number of guests. Are we supplying the ceremony music? Seperate cocktail and or dinner hour?

 

Will You Meet with us on the Weekends? We will! Being a full time and full service company, we will meet with you at your convenience. We typicall meet with our potential clients Monday-Thursday from 3-6:30 pm. The hours on the weekends (Fri-Sun) will vary depending on our schedule of events.

 

What types of events do you perform? We perform at Weddings, anniversaries, youth and corporate events, class reunions, BBQs, fire installations and anything you would need great DJ entertainment for.

 

Do you have back up equipment? Yes! Although we are computerized, we always carry a back up. If we have a problem, you'll never know. Check it out here Back up Equipment

 

What is your style? Elegant, classy and fun! Never cheesy...

 

Will you take requests from my guests? Yes, we highly suggest this. We want your guests to be active participants in your celebration.

 

Do you travel? Yes, of course. We have no limits.

 

What type of attire will my DJ wear? Depending on the event, for weddings we'll wear a suit and tie or a Tuxedo and our appearance is always appropriate and professional. For private parties, suit and tie, or slacks and tie.

 

Our venue is a very tight space, how much space do you need? We need at least a 2 by 4 space. Not much at all.

 

Why shouldn't we go with the lowest priced DJ?

A - By booking a low priced DJ, so many things can and probably will go wrong. First of all, check on their music, are they going with an industry standard professional music based company, such as Prime Cuts or Promo only. These two are legal music services and are known throughout the world. We have legal music!

 

B - Are they insured? Check! Always ask the DJ for their updated liablity insurance policy, if they hesitate, then they are not insured. We are legally insured through the ADJA and will show you!

 

C - Equipment - We offer Bose, Shure and commerical names. We will show you in our presentation.

 

By not having these 3 major components, this is why some DJs can offer a "low" rate. At your wedding reception, one of the most important days of your life, is it "worth" hiring the lowest priced DJ???

 

How LOUD will the music get? During cocktail and dinner the volume is at a comfortable volume.

 

What if a song isn’t in your library? We have a vast library and you are more than welcome to bring your DJ almost any music too. No explicit music. We love requests!

 

Do you include dancing lights in your packages? Yes. We offer our LED dance lights. We suggest our LED lighting for evening receptions that start after 5 pm.

 

Have you worked at my reception site before? Chances are that we have worked at your venue multiple times. We are a preferred vendor at over 40 venues throughout Albany, Schenectady, Troy, Saratoga Counties and the Binghamton area.

 

Can I see you perform? If the wedding we are performing is held in a public place, ie: Glen Sanders Mansion, The Hall of Springs, The Century House, The Saratoga National Golf Club etc, then I don't see why you couldn't view a "portion" of our performance. Please call me prior to this as every wedding is customized. There are some venues that are private and do not allow outside guests then we have no control.
